Who is responsible for injuries to a passenger while riding on a bus in New York?

Back to New York Personal Injury Videos Questions

Video Transcriptions

If you’re a passenger on a city bus and it gets into an accident, you are covered by no fault for medical bills and time lost from work.

But there is a twist to no fault in this particular type of case. If you own a motor vehicle, your own no fault insurance will have to cover you.  But if you don’t own a motor vehicle, then the bus company’s, or in this case the city’s, no fault insurance will cover you.
